Schweitzer Mountain

        This past week I got to go to Schweitzer Mountain with my fabulous family! We rented a cute little cabin for the week in the perfect location. It wasn't too close to anyone, but wasn't too far either. Everything was perfect about it, except it didn't have..... DUN DUN DUUUUUUN WiFi. That's right. No WiFi for one whole week. How was I supposed to survive? To be honest, I am not quite sure how I survived! Luckily we had cable..... In our house we don't get any TV channels. We have Netflix! (Which is the greatest thing since sliced bread)I turned the TV on and to my horror a right in the middle of my show it just stopped. There was a 4 minute break where it showed advertisement! I was horrified! What was this horrible break in my show?!?! I learned that is was called a commercial. Let me just say, I do NOT like commercials. Since I have Netflix we don't have commercials! So it was quite surprising to see them. Cable wasn't as great as I remembered. All the swearing and immoral behavior was unbelievable! It was quite an eye opener to realize just how evil the world really is! I sure am glad that I live in my little bubble!
           My dad has this "great" idea to hike to the top on the mountain. And this was a MOUNTAIN. It is not a hill like we have at home. This thing was a GIANT.  I was not looking forward to it. About 5 steps in I wanted to die. ( Working out really isn't my thing) I could barely move my feet. We finally decided to take a break. By the pace I was going, I wouldn't make it to the top until my 83rd birthday! Then I saw a fuzzy looking bug! So I flicked it off my rock and kept thinking how to get more energy. Then another fuzzy looking bug came on my rock! It seemed like these fuzzy bugs were attracted to me! And who can blame them!! *flips hair* (; I decided to ask my Dad what they were. It was a CATERPILLAR! A cute little one! I decided to keep it and name it! I named it Harold!

Isn't he so stinkin adorable?! Harold totally gave me energy! I was running up that mountain! Meanwhile while I was running.... Harold fell..... And was gone..... But I knew that Harold would have wanted me to keep running up the mountain! So I did! It was amazing.

I thing I enjoyed hiking..... Maybe.... But then again.... Exercise isn't really my thing!(;
The week was amazing though. I would LOVE to go again!

......As long as there was WiFi.(;
